  Kenilworth Town Ladies Football Club

Kenilworth Town Ladies FC

Kenilworth Town Ladies started in season 2005/06 as an under 14 team in the Central Warkwickshire Girls League. The team evolved from girl's only nights at Kenilworth Youth Centre. After a couple of kick-a-bout sessions the girls wanted to play league football just two weeks before the start of the season. Frantic paperwork and practice enabled the team to play Belgrade Bullets from tamworth in their first competitive match.

The first season was long and hard, but always held together by the close friendship of all players. The team gained two wins and two draws but the highlight must have been the singing on the minibus!

The team where now comitted and the second season soon followed with a big improvement in play and results. After six seasons in girls' football we now start our third campaign in ladies football which will be in the Birmingham County Women's League Premier Division after promotion last season

The ethos of the team is continued improvement which is gained by hard work and fun. We are looking forward to season 2012/13 and more success.
